Admissions

At Planet Kids the education of each child is shared with the family. We encourage parents to visit the school and consider our philosophy and goals in relation to the child's needs. 
Admissions decisions are at the discretion of the admissions committee. Decisions are not made on a first come first serve basis. When the number of applicants exceeds available space, children remain in an active waiting pool for consideration when an appropriate spot occurs. New children are taken from the waiting pool during the summer (for start in August or September) and as vacancies occur during the academic year.

Admissions procedures:
1. Familiarize yourself with the school, its philosophy and routines by reading this website, especially "About us." Fill out an application. If you prefer, you can send the information by post. Please send all communication to admissions(a)planetkids.se.

2. If a space becomes available that may suit your child, the admissions coordinator will notify you, and arrange a meeting at the school. Do keep touch with the school each term to confirm your continued interest and to relay any changes in your contact details. Contact is best kept through info(a)planetkids.se

3. All families are interviewed by the head teacher and/or the admissions coordinator. Before becoming a member of the association you must feel comfortable with the cooperative ideal and be prepared to become involved in the school. The parent handbook with the rules and guidelines of the school is available on this site (as a PDF file). We ask that you read the handbook and agree to abide by the contents.

Please note: 
Due to the inundation of interested families, we are unable to answer phone calls to the school.  E-mails are checked a number of times a week.
We usually welcome several new families to Planet Kids every year. Thank you for your interest and patience.
